Cardio & Core At Home AMRAP

Short on time and don't have any exercise equipment? TRY THIS AMRAP!

(AMRAP stands for “As Many Rounds As Possible”.)

If I was able to do this barefoot in the scorching sun with sweat blinding me, you can do this at home on your floor with your kids next to you. Remember, anything is better than nothing, so even if it’s for a couple of minutes, you might as well give it a try! #noexcuses

This workout is aimed to challenge your balance and cardio.

How to:

  1. Pick a certain amount of time and set a timer.

  2. Perform the following 3 exercises, 10 reps each, as many times as possible until the timer goes off. Take breaks when necessary.

  3. Have fun!

AMRAP

10x 1-Leg Crossovers (5L/5R)

10x In-Out Squat Jumps

10x Burpees to Standing

Note: Want an extra challenge? Add a jump to the burpees.

Just like the title of this blog says “Home Workout”, this was my home for a week, so it’s no lie!

I recorded this workout on the last day at our Airbnb in Quepos, Costa Rica. This was my favourite six days of our trip. I got to exercise and work by the pool in 28 degree weather and when I got too sweaty, I jumped in for a dip! It was an absolute dream come true. This was our first experiement of vacation work-life.

A big thank you to all my clients who were very patient with me while I worked out the first-time kinks. I look forward to many more adventures together!

Check back tomorrow for a second workout I made by the pool.
